QUESTION - WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR SPELLING? {150 WORDS}

ANSWER – As I have worked as, an English teacher for many years, I have crossed through many different levels of students. Some, among them, were very good at learning and reading too. But when I told them to write a paragraph or any poem, there were many spelling mistakes. At, first I tried to correct their mistake by do changes and corrections to the words written, Now, once again I told them to learn, write and spell the sentences in the correct form. But again the result was not satisfactory, and they repeated the same mistake again. Now, being a teacher I was worried about their progress. I decided to find the easiest method to help my student to learn. Spell the. Words in correct pronunciation and proper useful places. What was the method and how did my students come up with frequent spelling mistakes, I want to share with you if you could help others through this method it would be my pleasure. And will give me good feelings. That my continuous efforts to help many children, at a time are fruitful, and not only students whom, have taught, are taking benefit but other students also. Now comes to the point, methods I have suggested to improve it them to spell the words correctly is written below; -

1-      Use Mnemonics -  I suggested they use mnemonics because it’s a memory device, which helps learners recall larger pieces of information, especially in the form of a list of characteristics, steps, stages, etc.

2-      Know about rules – For proper knowledge of, spelling a student have to keep the knowledge of grammar rules. sometimes for some letters vowels should be silent. Like an honest, here while pronouncing letter ‘H ‘is silent, they must know about it.

3-      Learn commonly misspelled words –like

Absence {absence}

Adress {address}

4-      Makes a list of words you have troubling spelling.

5-      Check the origins of the word and enhance your knowledge.

6-      Chunk it, sound it out.
